Much of her research centers on implementation and evaluation of optimal care for women and young people experiencing violence in their relationships with a focus on integrating trauma-informed care in health settings. Incorporating multi-methodological approaches, including cohort studies using data linkage, in-depth qualitative inquiries as well as co-design, implementation and evaluation of community led initiatives. Patricia's research is interdisciplinary and spans public health, psychology and implementation science.
